Ask Better: AI Prompts

Privacy policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Ask Better is an iPhone app made by Gadzook Labs ("we") that teaches people to get more out of AI assistants. In short: the app collects no data. It has no accounts, no server, no ads and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

The app saves the lessons you've finished and anything you type into the prompt builder. These stay on your iPhone. We never receive them, and deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. The app asks the App Store whether you've made the purchase, so it knows what to unlock. Apple's privacy policy covers that purchase.

Using an AI assistant

There's no AI inside Ask Better. The app can copy or share a prompt when you ask it to, and you choose where to paste it. Anything you enter into Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant goes to the company that runs it and is covered by that company's privacy policy, not this one. Check the assistant's settings and your workplace's rules before entering private information.

Information from Apple

Apple gives developers overall figures such as downloads and sales. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may also give us crash reports and usage figures. These don't tell us who you are.

What we don't do

  • We don't collect, sell or rent your information.
  • We don't use advertising or tracking tools, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
  • We don't require an account.

Children

Ask Better is made for adults. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
